Double manual 'revival' harpsichord by Sassman (Germany) 1979(?)

Compass is AA-f''' (57 notes), disposition 2 x 8' and 4' with buff.. Plastic jacks originally quilled in leather, now converted to Delrin. A later revival instrument, it has some features that would be considered 'historical', such as spruce soundboard and register shift levers rather than pedals. Generally good sound and very impressive bass. Plays well.

Price: asking $6,000 CAD (the Universal Currency Converter can tell you what that would be in your currency) plus shipping from Toronto ON and any applicable taxes & duties. Sorry, this one does not qualify under NAFTA.. Interested? Contact us!

Sound samples:

recorded by Den on April 25, 2009 for Tatiana Z. The buff is pretty weak, but Den says he might be able to make it better. There are also two missing jacks, but we will supply replacements.
