Order on line: You can order and pay for your Good Food Box right here via Pay Pal. If you have a Pay Pal account you can use any of these cards
: ( the grey one marked "Bank" is supposed to indicate a bank debit card). If you do not have a Pay Pal account you can still use VISA or MasterCard. If your order is in by 10am on Wednesday, your box will be ready for you to pick up the following Wednesday. Note: pick up is at the Good Catch unless you tell us you want it at 109 Fuller.
We use Pay Pal® (division of E-Bay) on-line payment service for your security and ours -- we never see your card numbers. It's fast, secure and free.

Order in person (way #1): Order and pay at Good Catch General Store 1556 Queen Street West (between Fuller and Sorauren, next to Mitzi's Sister) by 10am on Wednesday, then pick up your box there the following Wednesday. They are open 7 days a week, 9:30am to 10pm. They accept cash and debit cards. (If you want to use Visa or M'C, we can do it on line -- see above).. *Of course* you can pay by cheque(s). Make cheques payable to "Foodshare Toronto" and dated for the 'payment required by' date (see calendar/chart below below for dates). Please say on the cheque or somewhere what sort of Box you want -- some are the same price -- what delivery date you are paying for and where you want to pick up (109 Fuller or Good Catch). Some people find it most convenient to pay for the next box when they pick theirs up, others give a series of post-dated cheques.

Order in person (way #2): Drop your payment *and order* into my mail slot in the door at 109 Fuller (not the mailbox on the fence, please!) by 10am on Wednesday, then pick up your box the following Wednesday. Cheques should be made payable to "Foodshare Toronto" and dated for the delivery date. Please say on the cheque or somewhere what sort of Box you want -- some are the same price -- what delivery date you are paying for and where you want to pick up (109 Fuller or Good Catch). Most people find it most convenient to pay for the next box when they pick theirs up, others give a series of post-dated cheques. The post-dated cheques should be dated for the Wednesday that the order is due, there is a calendar/chart below.
If you have any questions about any of this at all, or any problems with the on-line payment, please let me know, my contact info is below.

I need to have your order *and* payment by this date. My order goes in at noon on Wednesday so I need your order no later than 10am, please.
BTW, you can order any number of weeks in advance, if you like. Some folks order by the month.

Boxes arrive some time Wednesday morning. You can pick yours from the Good Catch 1552 Queen St West phone 416/533.4664 (open every day 9:30am to 10pm) *or* let me know if you want to pick up at my house, 109 Fuller. Delivery is also available from Good Catch. |

To order and pay, click on the "Add to cart" button next to the item(s) you want. When you have clicked all the items you wish to order, look at "Your Shopping Cart" (click 'view cart', or it may already be up in another tab or window), make any adjustments (you can change quantity or remove any item from your cart) and click "Proceed to checkout" where you will be asked for your credit card info. Some other useful things to know:
Good Food Box - $17
Family-sized selection of affordable fresh fruit and vegetables, with an emphasis on seasonal local produce and one or two "interesting" items each delivery.
Small Good Food Box - $12
A smaller version of the Good Food Box for singles, seniors or small families. We (three of us) have switched from a GFB every two weeks to a Small GFB every week. Fresher lettuce!
Fruit Basket - $12
Just fruit, with an emphasis on what's at its best and in season at the moment. Right now we are seeing Ontario pears and Ontario apples, of course (doctor repellant) and bananas from, umm, elsewhere. If you juice you may want to order every week!
Large Organic Box - $ 32
Certified organic produce, mostly local. Very seasonal, lots of root vegetables in the winter. The higher price of this box reflects the higher production costs that come from producing food organically.
Smaller version with the same certified organic produce, mostly local, very seasonal.
Do you want to inorporate more vitamins and minerals into your diet, eat more raw foods, or satisfy your sweet tooth the right way? FoodShare is now making it possible. Starting in April 2009. Sample contents: Fair Trade bananas, 3 lb local apples, 1 pineapple, 8 oranges, 1 lb kiwi, 1 pt strawberries, and 6 grapefruits.
A week's worth of servings of fruits and vegetables, cut up and measured for you with love and care. Suitable for seniors and students. And anybody who is too busy to cook. Or packing lunches. Pick up some hummus or baba ganoush at Good Catch to dip the carrot and celery sticks in. A great summer alternative to cooking -- real food, no preparation time, what's not to like?
A little hand powered gizmo that turns grownup food into babyfood. So even very small people can have the benefits of fresh, local and organic. Works on fruit and veggies, of course, but also meat, fish and poultry. Strains out seeds, bones and other obstacles to dentally-challenged people. Whatever you're having, they can have too. And you know *exactly* what's in it!
