Mackenzie Post Digital (MPD) is pleased to have John Kameel Farah as its next resident. Farah is an accomplished pianist and composer with influences ranging from early music, free improvisation, middle-eastern rhythms to electronica. He has just returned to Toronto after touring around the UK, Europe, and Brazil. He will soon be on his way to New York, but will be using his time at MPD to compose and record pieces for a new CD which will be released in early 2011.

• Sept 3, Friday -- Opening Welcome Event at Mackenzie Post Digital, 4 Mackenzie Crescent - 6-9pm 
• Sept 9, Thurs -- UNIT Bar, 1198 Queen Street West, 9-12pm.
• Sept 16, Thurs -- Lecture and Recital Night at Mackenzie Post Digital, 4 Mackenzie Crescent - 7-10pm
• Sept 17, 18, 19 -- Farah plays Michael J. Baker's music, choreographed by Peggy Baker at Fleck Theatre, Harbourfront Centre
• Sept 24, Friday -- Fundraiser for Mackenzie Post Digital at 4 Mackenzie Crescent - 7-10pm
• Sept 25, Saturday -- Concert of new works at Gallery 345, 345 Sorauren Ave - 8pm
• Oct 2, Saturday (Nuit Blanche) -- Closing Event at Mackenzie Post Digital, 4 Mackenzie Crescent - 7-11pm
