CLAVIERS BAROQUES -- voicing a harpsichord plectrum.

To voice a plectrum for a harpsichord you will need:

• a replacement plectrum (see our Plectrum section for the various types, but for now we will assume that you have the correct replacement plectrum and that it is *plastic*)
• a sharp scalpel or craft knife (eg, Xacto); if not, obtain one, you can always order one here.
• a voicing block; if not, make one or order one here.
• the harpsichord that needs the replacement plectrum. This has to be done individually, and

A couple of bandages nearby would not be amiss, either -- scalpels are really sharp, and blood is nearly impossible to get off the soundboard..
